Description
INSTRUCTIONS
Parts to be bonded must be transparent. E.g. Glass or clear plastic. This adhesive works best on well matched pieces. It is not recommended for gap-filling or for coating.
- Make sure surfaces are clean, dry and free from oil and grease.
- Work out of direct sunlight or the adhesive will cure before the bond has been made.
- Apply adhesive to one surface.
- Bring the two surfaces together and then expose to UV light or direct sunlight. Make sure the pieces are held together well as a slight shift will be permanently bonded in that position.
- The parts will be bonded in approximately 5-10 seconds. For maximum strength, leave in the UV light / sunlight for 5 minutes.
- Excess adhesive that is squeezed out from between the surfaces and exposed to the air will also cure but will have a slightly sticky surface. This excess can be removed with a blade alternatively the sticky surface can be removed with acetone (nail polish remover). Note: Acetone can cause some clear plastics to become “cloudy” so do this with care.
STORAGE
- Store in a cool dark place.
- If refrigerated allow adhesive to reach room temperature before using.
