ASMACO INSTANT GRAB is an easy-to-use for dry, wet and underwater, for high strength, elastomeric product which can serve as both adhesive and sealant. It is a waterproof glue that instantly bonds, seals and repairs virtually everything. This adhesive’s instant grab capability holds objects in place and, in most cases, eliminates the need for fixtures. It cures in 24-48 hours and reaches maximum strength in 7 days. No need for screws or nails, it’s perfect for all types of bonding, sealing and repairs. The special high performance I-Tech Sealant formulation provides excellent underwater bonding and sealing capability and Asmaco Instant Grab can be used to seal water leakages without draining.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
The joint surfaces must be clean, dry and free from all contamination. The surfaces should be de-greased using the appropriate solvent. Cut off tip of the cartridge, leaving thread intact. Screw on the nozzle and cut nozzle to the required size. Insert cartridge into a standard size caulking gun and squeeze trigger. Apply liberally to one side of the surface being bonded and apply firm pressure continuously for a minimum of 10-30 seconds for instant grab to take place. In some applications, clamping may be required. If needed, the bonded objects can be repositioned within 10 minutes of application. Allow 24-48 hours for curing. Will reach maximum strength in 7 days

Premium grade, heavy-duty, professional quality construction adhesive. Bonds practically all construction materials including: wood sub-floor, metal-stud walls, door saddles and thresholds, metal moldings, fiberglass and fiberboard, loose brick or tile, and large panels of plywood, particle board, and more. After it is cured, it actually toughens with age. Bond is not affected by vibration or flexing. Fills gaps to bridge irregularities and voids in projects. Applies easy and dries fast in any climate. Bonds to wet or frozen lumber and withstands climate extremes from sub-zero temperatures to hot desert sun. Holds parts in place with only momentary pressure. Smears will not bleed through paint. Exceeds APA AFG-01 specifications and HUD/FHA use of materials bulletin No. 60. Color: Buff.

  • After applying product to one surface, join the two materials to be bonded, pull apart for 15-40 seconds, then re-join. Parts are held in place with only momentary pressure and have fast hold. Majority of bond is achieved after 24 hours, but will continue to strengthen for up to a week
